Protect your Cubify iSense 3D scanner by keeping it covered when not in use, thereby negating the need to detach it from your iPad or iPhone, which would wear down the fastening clip unnecessarily and require repeated recalibration. The provided cover with a built-in USB brace serves two purposes. It supports the USB connector at one end while also serving as a parking clip for the lightning connector when not in use. Secure the clip in place using double-sided tape. When assembling the Cover, align the hinge carefully and gently push the knobs into position without forcing them, ensuring they click securely into place. Once the hinge is assembled, secure it to the iSense with double-sided tape. To utilize your 3D scanner, flip open the cover; when you're finished scanning, cap it back on to safeguard your cameras from accidental damage. Update: On December 12th, 2015, a v3 Cover was released that combines all components, including the hinge, into one print. Printing with support is recommended for optimal results.
