ISDT Q8 charger 60 mm fan adapter

Hej, Are you tired of the noise of the 30 mm fan in your ISDT Q8 charger when you discharge batteries? Worry no more :-) I have designed a fan adapter diffusor that enables attaching a Noctua 60 mm fan. I have used the NF A6x25 FLX version, which does not require PWM steering. It is virtually silent, you really need to "feel" by hand the airflow or listen carefully. First I need to state that if you perform this mod you are voiding all sort of warranty on your charger. So at your own risk. I can recommend short self-tapping screws, 2-3 mm diameter and not longer than 10 mm for practical reasons. Second thing to state is that when opening the charger you need to be fairly careful to not lift the screen module much before you get the entire board and heat sink out, since the fragile cable connection can easily be ripped off. I have done it, but could find new screen unit on Aliexpress. You will need to drill holes into the housing of the charger (obviously after full disassembly). You can use the hole pattern on the diffusor. When adding the upper screws I recommend to "aim" them a bit downwards, since the more you get away from the screen the better. Also you need to use some kind of adapter to lead out the 2 wires from the charger motherboard towards the fan. One feed and one ground. I have soldered a JST connector, to have it removable. I include both STL and original Fusion 360 files, so unlimited tinkering is possible. Probably you could use a 40 mm fan, as well, I have gone medium retard with 60 mm fan. If you wish to go full retard I could suggest a 140 mm fan, but then you might need additional feeding power and a more serious support to not get it too unstable :-)
