Ironman Arc Reactor

This is a wearable Ironman Arc reactor from the Adafruit NeoPixel Superhero Power Plant project (https://learn.adafruit.com/superhero-power-plant). I created the Holder and Disk, adapting the Ironman design from the Adafruit project into a .stl file for 3D printing, replacing their etched acrylic file with one that can be printed. The source code also comes from the Adafruit project, but I modified it to display white color since the disk defines blue. Printer Settings: Printer: M3D Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Notes: I used Hatchbox Orange PLA for the Ironman Holder piece at 220 C with worst quality settings. For the IronmanDisk, I used M3D Aqua Blue PLA (code "SKY") also at 220 C with worst quality settings. The Ironman itself was printed with Hatchbox Black PLA at 220 C with worst quality settings. After printing, I super glued the pieces together. Post-Printing: Finishing: Solder the wires according to the Adafruit instructions (https://learn.adafruit.com/superhero-power-plant). Add GEMMA code by renaming the txt file to .ino and upload it to the GEMMA board (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1222). The outer ring features a 16-LED NeoPixel (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1463), while the inner ring is the Flora RGB (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1260). Two slots on either end allow you to attach an elastic strap from a craft store like Michael's, enabling you to wear it around your chest by tying or safety pinning them together. Note: Be sure to use enough wire when connecting the NeoPixel Ring so that you don't have to cross its center, as I did. Software Design: My go-to online software is Tinkercad.com.
