Iron Sight for softair weaver picatinny rail
thingiverse
Sometimes I enjoy playing plinking with airsoft rifles, so I decided to try projecting a few simple yet efficient sights to mount on standard Weaver rails. I designed 2 models of rear sights that differ slightly only aesthetically. Rear sight corrects the aim for windage, forward sight corrects elevation. I prepared an M5 thumb nut; it's threaded but I highly recommend refreshing the thread with an M5 male for threading. I also prepared (as you can see in the pictures) rear and front sights with or without a hole for an M4 grain to lock the mobile parts. In case you decide to install a grain, you'll need to thread the hole with an M4 male for threading. In my case, the grain isn't necessary for the rear sight because the dovetail is tight enough to retain the mobile part; however, things could be different depending on your printer. About the forward sight, a grain is really convenient but also a drop of glue can make it work. I designed 2 different designs for the mobile part of the front sight called "Line" and "Line1"; you can use what suits you best.
