The Mark 7, also known as Mark VII, is a state-of-the-art Fully Loaded Rapid Deployment Suit created by Tony Stark, designed to outdo its predecessor, the Mark VI, sometime between the events of Iron Man 2 and The Avengers. It made its debut in The Avengers movie when Tony was forced to instruct J.A.R.V.I.S. to prepare it for combat despite still being under construction, as the Mark VI had been badly damaged during its last use by Tony on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Built for heavy combat, this suit is heavily armed with advanced weapons. Its armor features a unique pod-forming ability that opens up to reveal mechanical arms which extend and wrap around Tony's arms using encrypted metallic bracelets embedded with special codes in black rectangular spaces. The laser scanners on the mechanical arms verify the user's identity by scanning these codes, then activate the pod, encasing it around Tony. This suit is a testament to Tony Stark's ingenuity and technological prowess.
