Iron Man Arc Reactor with Circuit Playground Express
thingiverse
This is a fully programmable Iron Man Arc Reactor with an Adafruit Circuit Playground Express. MakeCode makes it easy for kids to program different patterns, colors, music, and even turn on or off by clapping hands using a drag-and-drop interface. The 3D parts were remixed from an existing project by Aelkaim. I modified the Crystal Bottom to hold the CPX, and the Crystal Ring to hold a 24 Bit LED ring. Print all parts at 95% scale for best results with the linked parts below. Scaling down may be necessary if you use different parts. Adafruit Circuit Playground Express (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3333) 24 Bit LED WS2812 Ring (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CNFZC35) 3 Alligator Clips Spray Paint (Metallic Gold, Metallic Silver, Hammered) Copper Wire 24 Gauge (Ace Hardware) 3 X M3 16mm screws (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0743CP22G) Print these parts in Transparent or Glow in the Dark PLA: 01_Crystal_Ring 02_Crystal_CPX_Bottom 03_Crystal_Top Print these parts in ABS for added strength: 04_Upper_Grid 05_Lower_Grid_Caps (Use a Raft to prevent tab breakage.)
