Here's an arc reactor that I made for Halloween in 2014 - a device with a 1mm groove to accommodate a neopixel strip placed facing towards its central axis. More details are available here: http://nocduro.ca/finished-projects/arc-reactor/. I should note, this project is actually a Mark VI reactor and not the Mark III. My mistake was evident at first glance!
