This is a 3D scan of an iron lion statue at the Holstentorplatz in Luebeck, Germany. I discovered this model online at http://www.123dapp.com/catch/Capture_2015_04_15_18_03_51_lion/3817796. To prepare it for 3D printing, I used MeshMixer to edit the model and make it solid. I scaled the lion to its correct size and oriented it properly on a virtual base.
