Iron Grenadiers Stinger Up-armored (GI Joe)
thingiverse
This model was never a toy in the GI Joe series but I wanted more Iron Grenadiers vehicles. Essentially, this is an up-armored version of the six-wheeled Cobra Stinger that I previously published. The armor and other details were inspired by a Jurassic Park toy. My finished model weighs 12.5 grams, so it cost me about $0.30 for the material to print it. This file is free to download. On Memorial Day '18, thanks to the 1.3 million soldiers (1776-present day) who gave their lives so Americans like me can live in peace, freedom, and make silly little toys like these. Rest in peace. Printing is straightforward, though supports are required. The chassis is printed right side up with supports. The bull bar, underpan, and tires are printed without support. Note that the bull bar and underpan can also be applied to the basic Cobra Stinger transport published in 2016.
