Iron Grenadiers Destroyer mk IV (GI Joe)
thingiverse
I created this design, and it was never part of the official GI Joe toy line. I needed vehicles for Destro's faction, but the actual toys available were laughable. This model is intended to be a fast, low-profile two-man tank similar in shape to the real-world Hetzer. It comes in two versions: one with a high-caliber howitzer and another with twin rapid-fire cannons. While it may not have enough firepower for some people's standards of "GI Joe," I'm happy with it. The printing process is relatively straightforward. The chassis can be printed without supports, but the tracks do require some support. However, I found that printing the guns horizontally with supports worked better than printing them vertically with no supports. I want to express my deepest respect and gratitude to all the men and women who serve in our Armed Forces – past, present, and future. Their sacrifices enable people like me to live peaceful lives, enjoy freedom, and create quirky little projects like this tank. People like you are the real American heroes.
