I needed my Roomba clean base to connect directly to the central vacuum in my house, ditching those disposable bags for good. Now, the clean mode on my Roomba turns on the central vac instead of firing up its internal motor. Getting this setup running was a breeze, taking around 2 hours from start to finish. However, I strongly advise against attempting this if you're not comfortable working with mainline AC voltage or understanding how relays function. Moreover, be aware that this modification will void your warranty, but the bag-free experience is well worth it!
