iRobot Braava 380 wet mopping attachment
thingiverse
I'm absolutely thrilled with my iRobot vacuum cleaner and its companion, the iRobot 380 wiper! However, I must admit that I'm not entirely satisfied with the standard wiper attachment that comes with it. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and write this essay. Two powerful magnets measuring 6mm in diameter (yx) and 3mm in thickness (z) are cleverly designed to be mounted on the underside of the unit. Velcro is then securely fastened onto the surface for a snug fit. After printing, the container isn't entirely waterproof, but that's an easy fix with Exposid Harz – just apply it to seal any gaps! If you're looking for more ways to make your container watertight through pressure settings, I'd love to hear your suggestions in the comments below! The print time is quite impressive, clocking in at 6 hours for a 0.3 layer and 8 hours for a 0.2 layer. Of course, you can always experiment with different resolutions to achieve optimal waterproofing results! One thing worth noting is that I printed the clasp using TPU on Layer 0.2 – it's a clever design move that adds an extra layer of durability to the overall unit.
