Irn-Bru. To the rest of the world it's a soft drink. But to Scotland, it's a cultural phenomenon right up there with Buckfast, The Proclaimers, Sean Connery and deep-frying anything they can lay their hands on. And may that tradition continue forever. I spent five years living in Scotland, where I acquired a taste for Irn-Bru long before I dove headfirst into the Bru's unique flavor profile. Trying to explain it to people from other countries is a lost cause - it's a taste all its own. If you're in the US, Europe, Japan, Africa or Antarctica, track down an importer and give it a shot. Resistance is futile - you'll be hooked. Anyway, the coaster. This one's a tribute to Scotland as a whole.
