Irmantas stopped by our booth at the Big Bang Fair and got scanned in 3D with our scanning rig, a complex setup of 96 DSLR cameras that captures a whopping total of 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each scan. We worked closely with our friends at CapturingReality.com to process the data - their software expertly analyzed each image, identifying unique points on every one and then plotting these points in 3D space when they appeared on multiple images.
