Being utterly fed up with waiting for my Irix IFH-100 filter holder, I took matters into my own hands and created a custom holder using 3D printing technology. The finished product is now ready and fully operational, allowing me to attach two filters without obstructing my view in any way. To achieve this, I simply printed out two sets of springs, which proved to be the perfect solution. To prevent damage to my precious filter and ensure a light-tight seal, I carefully glued a layer of soft velvet cloth onto the top plate of the holder. This clever touch has made all the difference in terms of durability and functionality. If you choose to print it with a different type of plastic, such as PLA or PETG, you may need to adjust the scale slightly to compensate for any differences in retraction. Printing the original model at 100% scale with these materials would result in unsightly light leaks around the filter.
