Irish Coffee Machine & mesuring cup
thingiverse
Here are Irish coffee fans. Please find my Irish coffee machine, meaning that you can put coffee in the cup and just wait a minute. The coffee will be on top of whisky without any stress or effort. You'll need a 4 mm diameter aluminum rod approximately 140 mm long. The float is designed to support this length in aluminum plus the small part on top. The heavier you are with the rod, the deeper the float will go into the whisky. You can print all parts in PLA with high infill for the cup in order to have it stable and heavy. Infill and wall thickness should be lower for the float and upper part. In addition, you'll need a measuring cup with one side holding 6 cl of whisky and the other side holding 2.5 cl for sugar. Testing has shown that 2 cl of sugar is enough. The measuring cup consists of three parts: two sides and a centering piece which should be assembled using glue. The top guide of the cup can be assembled without glue, just press strongly. As with all things, consume with moderation. To ensure the best print quality, you'll need to turn some parts before printing.
