Irish 8 Cuff
thingiverse
Here's a simple Irish 8-style cuff that locks with an external padlock. The hole fits most ~1/4" shackled locks, but I've also included an adapter pin to use smaller ~1/8" padlocks commonly used - like the mini Master locks of the same style with ~.136" shackles. The height of this cuff is 1.5". Both halves are identical; just flip one over for the other half. A 3/16" pin was used for the hinge, but if you don't have any hardware lying around, I've included a simple STL of a 3/16" pin. It's exactly .1875", just like hole size, so it will be a very tight fit. File or drill out the hole as needed, or sand the pin. Four sizes of cuffs are included - these are the interior dimensions of the ellipses for each: Large: 3.0" x 2.5" Medium: 2.75" x 2.25 Small: 2.5" x 2.0" Extra Small: 2.25" x 1.75" Supports will be needed for the hinge, and possibly the lock hole depending on how well you can print overhangs. I know the print quality in the example pictures is bad - the filament used is old.
