Iris Ring Box

I'm going to pop the question to my girlfriend next weekend. To make it extra special, I've designed a custom ring box that's been two months in the making. It started as a blank slate, but after four complete redesigns and countless prints, I finally have a design I love. I pushed myself to the limit with this project, testing my skills and patience. Along the way, I went through an entire roll of PLA filament, but the end result is well worth it. I'm hoping this ring box will inspire others to propose in style too! To assemble it, you'll need a few extra items: some extra filament for the blade pegs, super glue to hold everything together, snips to trim any excess material, and screws (I used M3 screws from an old laptop, but feel free to use whatever works best). If you want to add a little extra flair, some EVA foam can come in handy.
