Iris Membrane (Diaphragm)

Iris Membrane (Diaphragm)

Designed and manufactured using LibreCAD. The size of iris is about 60x60x15 No glue, no nuts, no screws, easy to print, amazing mechanics! The design is simply assembled - you can see it in the picture. Six leaves are made straight, although of course it is not difficult to make them curved. It's recommended to use filament of different colors for leafs and sides. I use Ender 3 and about 2-3 hours to print this model. You have to use knife to cut off elephant border of the middle section! However, do it carefully - the mechanism must fit back to back. Creality, TEVO, Prusa, Anycubic, Wanhao, Reprap, Ultimaker - 100% printable with good result.
