Iris Keyboard Sandwich Case
thingiverse
This is a custom case for the Iris rev4 keyboard from keeb.io. The top plate of this case is extremely rigid due to its thickness and solidity, with no noticeable bend or give even when compared to metal plates after installation. Each switch hole features a lip that securely clips onto it rather than being pressed in. The middle layer is taken directly from the official case design repository found at https://github.com/keebio/iris-case. In the photos, I've used clear PLA to showcase the shine-through effect created by the built-in underglow LEDs. The bottom of this case boasts a unique honeycomb pattern achieved through the use of a honeycomb infill design with the LEDs shining brightly through it. I've included the original Fusion 360 design file for anyone who would like to explore or modify it.
