Iris Hatch Container

Iris Hatch Container

Hello! This is a fun project I've been meaning to do for a while now, create an iris hatch container from scratch. Now, you can either print all files and use it as a container, or you can print only the "upper" portion (the hatch itself) and use if on other projects or container sizes if you want (remember, the screw to connect it is 90 mm diameter (M90x2 right screw). The complete print is 110 mm tall (4.3 inches), and 100 mm diameter (3.9 inches) (the hatch portion is about 18.6 mm tall, 0.73 inches) I hope you have fun with it, I just completed the hatch and I'm printing the "vase" soon. In the meantime you can see the hatch working and renders of the vase part. Check out the last photo to see how parts fit inside the hatch, but still, I think it's pretty straightforward. Remember to print 5 of the "arm", and 5 "hatch" pieces, the rest just 1 of each. As usual with these precision prints, if at first the parts dont fit perfectly, try slightly sanding the edges until they do. For me it worked mostly perfect, and just had to sand off the "irregularities" from my bed (also, my printer may be in need to tunning).
