Iris Case - High Profile - Tenting

This is a custom case for the Iris keyboard designed to accommodate 3/32 inch silicon feet on the underside of the PCB. Uses standard 3mm hardware consisting of four 16mm long bolts (recommended to be thumbscrews), four nuts, and eight 5mm diameter magnets per half. To get the pro micro as close as possible to the PCB, you'll need to bridge approximately 0.25 inches between the bottom of the pcb and the case. For this purpose, I recommend using peel-a-way sockets available at keeb.io or removing the black plastic from pin headers that came in your kit for a more affordable option. Be sure to trim switch legs under the micro and apply a piece of tape for electrical insulation. The hat and magnets require gluing in place. The switchplate has provisions to add some adhesive to the locating pins on the hat from underneath. Attach the hat to the switchplate before soldering any switches onto your pcb.
