Protect Your iRig HD2 with a Custom Case Don't let your iRig HD2's fragile connectors snap under stress, especially the microUSB plug. A simple solution is to create a protective case using 3D printing. To get started: 1. Edit your FreeCAD project to match the dimensions and length of your plugs precisely. 2. Use exact sizes without any tolerance; you'll add it later with "Horizontal Expansion." 3. Export two sides: iRigHD2_1 & 2. 4. Print these shapes using a negative value for "Horizontal Expansion" to achieve a snug fit. For now, attach the case using some tape; I haven't designed an attachment system yet. The SCAD file is provided only because Thingiverse doesn't recognize FreeCAD files as valid designs.
