The digital multimeter series UT71 from UNI-TREND delivers an affordable measurement solution without sacrificing accuracy. The kit comes equipped with an USB Interface Cable and Windows based software. Regrettably, the USB Interface is incompatible with Mac OS X, but users can easily connect through an optical interface that can be soldered in under five euros. The specs are as follows: Rafts: Doesn't Matter Layer Settings: Supports: Doesn't Matter Design Notes: Utilizing a laser-cut housing constructed from 2mm white acryl, one can achieve impressive results. This design was carefully crafted with Inkscape. However, note that the number of layers used may depend on your wiring thickness. A mere four pieces sufficed for my setup. Each layer should be securely attached using a two-component adhesive for optimal performance. For enhanced stability, attaching a half-drunken straw to the lug, as shown in the first image, is highly recommended.
