IR Tracking Headset Clip Beta
thingiverse
The Clip, designed for FreeTrack Project-based headset clips, features 5mm cubed IR LEDs sourced from used equipment; however, normal IR LEDs can also be utilized. The model includes wire channels of 1mm depth and a large central mounting point for alternative mounting methods and wiring. To assemble, print the Clip Model, refer to Free-Track.net for detailed instructions on LED usage, wiring information, and assembly steps. I opted for a flat placement without through holes, using a M3 nut, M3 x 8mm screw, and washer for the swivel. The block measures 24x25mm, but you can customize it to suit your headset needs. Note that I use a mini USB cable's 5 volts, which is not ideal or safe for computers; exercise caution.
