IR Sensor Holder
thingiverse
This simple holder allows users to attach an IR sensor with ease, designed specifically for holding sensors that turn speakers on and off along with the television. Its primary purpose is to locate the sensor close to the TV's sensor without requiring attachment directly to the TV. The shape of this holder is carefully laser-cut from acrylic, and a hot air gun is used to heat the plastic along the line where it needs to bend, making it flexible. When heated, the bottom sections can be carefully bent into position using a wooden stick. To set its shape, two blocks of wood are then used to hold it in place while it cools and hardens.
