People with limited mobility need accessible UIs for infrared controlled devices such as TVs. A great example of an individual remote control created specifically for this purpose is the one shown in the picture, which was built using an Arduino and a touch sensor. The buttons on this remote control were made with aluminum tape, but any conductive material can be used instead.
