A custom housing holds two printed circuit boards. The primary board, featuring a controller and joystick similar to those in a Wii nunchuck remote, also accommodates a lithium-ion battery within its main compartment. A separate faceplate with a design resembling a cat's face fits snugly over an infrared LED array on a secondary PCB that is secured into headers located on the primary board.
