This CNY70 IR pulse sensor provides support for the French Gazpar gas counter. The smallest digit on the counter features a reflective component on number 6. Each time a cycle of 0.001 cubic meters is completed, a pulse is generated and processed by an Arduino microcontroller. Data are ultimately stored in a home automation system.
