thingiverse

Bondtech has created a versatile housing for its new IR filament sensor on the Bondtech extruder for Prusa, Bear, and Zaribo printers. The design can be found here: https://github.com/BondtechAB/Bondtech_Prusa_i3/tree/master/CAD-Files. This remix of the original design for the Zaribo extruder includes several key changes: * A new cover is added for the push-fit connector in inverse bowden setups. * Another new cover is included for regular filament feeding configurations. * The magnet has been slightly moved to increase its attraction power. * The lever's shape has been modified for improved performance. * The walls of the housing have been thickened for better printing results. In addition to the screws specified in the Bondtech manual, you will need one M3 hex nut, one M3 square nut, and a single M3x10mm socket head cap screw. Update: On May 1st, Stefan Weber provided a third cover design for the Mosaic Palette 2. Update: On May 2nd, the sensor housing was updated with corrected dimensions for the lever's screw hole. Update: A new version of the Mosaic cover was uploaded on May 4th. Update: The correct lever design was posted on May 7th.
