I wasn't a fan of the Bondtech IR filament sensor adapter's design for the Mk2/s upgrade extruder (https://github.com/BondtechAB/Bondtech_Prusa_i3/tree/master/CAD-Files/MK3s%20Sensor%20Add-On), so I created my own. This custom design flips the lever arm around 180 degrees, positioning the hinge point at the rear, and adds a screw-down cap instead of a snap-in design. It also provides an option for attaching a bowden tube connector (PC4-M10x1.0) to accommodate the MMU2 or a reverse bowden setup. The filament inlet features a 60-degree internal chamfer, which aids in loading the filament or locating the end of a bowden tube, such as in reverse bowden or MMU2 setups. Additionally, this design includes a filler for the laser sensor slot, ensuring that the filament path is better constrained between the new sensor and the Bondtech gears.
