IR emitter (and reciever) box

Sometimes you have a rack full of equipment (cable boxes, etc.) that each need their own IR emitter for control, but allot of times these IR emitter's don't stick so well, or get removed/broken when the equipment/cable box gets replaced by the cable guy, or rebooted by the customer, or something else.

The solution I've come up with is to cable tie the IR emitter in this 3D printed box, which magnetically mounts to the shelf and stays in-front of the equipment it's controlling.

The arrow ontop of the box should match an arrow sticker or mark you apply to the equipment so it can be re-aligned easily by anyone.

There is also a place to mount an IR receiver, in-case that same IR emitter is to control another device or something over an HDbT link, such as a TV or equipment in a certain room.

On the right side, simply snip the plastic to allow for the cable(s) to exit the box.

- many cable tie positions
- two IR RX holders depending on angle/position you need
- two positions for magnets to be inserted in the bottom
- cover should fit snugly on top without glue
