IR Cut Filter Washer v2.0

I'm designing a washer that can fit between the UV filter ring and the Schneider IR Cut filter glass. This is necessary because the original filter doesn't have front threads due to its thick glass. I fixed this issue by buying a slim threaded UV filter, removing its glass, and using its ring with the lock ring removed from the top of the Schneider filter. However, there's still a problem - too much space between the glass and the inner ring, making it insecure. This washer will fill that gap and hold everything in place. Once perfected, I can stack filters on top of the Schneider filter where previously not possible. I believe this technique could also work for variable ND filters without front threads.
