A keyboard/mouse emulator that can be controlled with an IR remote is created. I use it to control my Android TV box with a TV remote. This project is very easy to make, no custom PCB is needed. You will have to modify the firmware to make it work with some other remote. It is easily done. Download Arduino IDE (https://www.arduino.cc/en/main/software) Install IRLib2 (https://github.com/cyborg5/IRLib2) Upload "record.ino" sketch from IRLib2 examples Open Serial Monitor view in Arduino IDE Push buttons on your IR remote and watch serial port output. Write down codes for arrow buttons, OK, Return/Exit and so on.
