As an afterthought to my home automation system setup, I'm including three IR code sources for the AV controls. The first is a Global Cache Ethernet connection, then there's the RF Universal remote control. Lastly, an Insteon receiver plays double duty as both a repeater and incorporates 2 IR blaster emitters into this section of code.
