This case is designed specifically for a 4th Generation iPod Touch, boasting key features that set it apart from other cases on Thingiverse. Protecting the edge of the glass screen is critical, and this case excels in this area where others fall short. It also ensures a snug fit without any wobble. To print, separate the two halves and use high-resolution settings to ensure a smooth surface finish. Do not use rafts or supports as the design includes "mouse ears" for support. After printing, minor filing or sanding may be required on the dovetail joint and where the mouse ears were removed. Printing time is approximately 3-3.5 hours per half using PLA filament on a Replicator 2 with specific settings provided in the instructions. Removing the case from the iPod can be challenging initially, but it's as simple as prying up two dovetails with shim-like objects and pulling the halves apart. The Solidworks file is also included for easy modifications.
