Ipod replacement shell
thingiverse
Replacement for the Stainless Steel back shell of an iPod Classic from 5th to 7th gen. It's probably as large as the special one you can get from some iPods. It's also the max-size to still fit in all official docks. I created this because I had some iPods and phone batteries lying around that I wanted to combine without buying extra shells. It also gives some space, maybe for a Bluetooth module (?). Screw holes should be fine for the originals to fit, but keep in mind that the originals were designed for metal, not plastics. There is no thread in the holes as they are too small. There's no need to print it on super fine, basic 0.2mm should do it, but without guarantee. Actually, the side-clips work great with other iPod generations down to 3rd.
