I made a case for my classic iPod 3G in just under an hour. I'm thinking the offset from the original device might be a bit much? We'll see how it turns out since it's currently printing... 12/25/14 - updated case with smaller offset and larger text on one back piece which has a "K" on the rear, while the other does not. I will need to drill out the headphone jack and likely clear some plastic around the lock switch. Instructions You're going to need four screws, a screwdriver, a drill, and of course an iPod 3G. There's also a cool hack that converts these to solid state compact flash cards.
