thingiverse
I was fed up with seeing those pesky scratches keep appearing on the back of my polished steel iPod, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and design a protective soft case. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Bq Prusa I3 Hephestos Rafts: No rafts required Supports: None needed Resolution: 0.01mm precision Infill: 100% infill density for added strength Notes: Material: Filaflex filament used for its flexibility and durability. Extruder temperature: 236 degrees Celsius Printing speed: 20mm per second for optimal results Retraction settings: enabled with a retraction speed of 40mm/s and 4mm length Layer cooling fan: configured to kick in at 4mm height, with a minimum speed of 40% Post-Printing: The top edge of the hole requires some minor cutting work, but it's easily done. I believe this issue could be resolved using a dual extruder printer and soluble filament for the supports. Manicure pliers would come in handy for this "cleaning" process.
