Hi, this is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1753848 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1778482. I was looking for a reliable and secure case to hold my iPhone 7 securely in place on my Kawasaki ER-6n motorcycle. Initially, I printed out https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1753848 but found the case to be somewhat loose. However, the fast lock and release mechanism is definitely a keeper. I redesigned https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1778482, incorporating the lock's slot and implementing a more effective way to secure the two halves together. To unlock the upper half of the case, simply locate a small, sturdy object such as a paperclip or a pin, insert it into the tiny hole, and gently push the snap lock. As I haven't printed out this design yet, I'm currently without access to a 3D printer. However, I'd love to hear from anyone who decides to try it out! I've included the SolidWorks files for your convenience, so feel free to make any necessary adjustments to suit your needs. For optimal printing results, I recommend using vertical printing and supports to ensure a sturdy and secure finish.
