To solve my Navigon app visibility issue while driving, I created a custom mount for my iPhone5 in an Otter Box case. This involved designing a "holder" and a sliding "bracket" to fit into the gap below the stereo system. However, the setup might not work for everyone, so I provided the "holder" separately to allow users to devise their own bracket attachment. I used 3 M3-0.5x18 bolts for assembly. The design is available in Sketchup files for customization. To print, you can either create a whole piece or separate holder and bracket. For the holder, use ABS at 100% infill with no shells, while the bracket requires ABS at 40% infill with 3 shells. I also tested a single-part version printed in PLA with 100% infill and zero shells.
