I print it: To get a good PLA print, I start by heating the bed to a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius. Once the first two layers are down, I reduce the heat to 45 degrees Celsius. This helps prevent the edges of the bottom layer from peeling off while printing. Before sending my parts to the printer, I always scale them up about 0.7 percent in all directions - that's a factor of 1.007. As a result, after they've cooled, all measurements are accurate within plus or minus 0.25 millimeters.
