<p>Came out of trying to print phone cases out of Taulman PCTPE, but they would always have issues with bridging, and splaying, so printing in two parts allows it be more form fitting and less bridges. &nbsp;Also, it prints really cool without top or bottom layers and gyroid infill- plus the phone stays cooler. &nbsp;I don't know why phones don't have air gap/openings on the back to improve battery life.</p><p>Uses M3 hex nuts and 15mm bolts.</p><p>I printed one out with my MMU2s (first multimaterial print that I ever got to work after 4 years) with the perimeters in Prusament PETG Galaxy Red (perimeters and solid infill) and the infill as Taulman PCTPE for more ‘bounce’. &nbsp;I added some layers to help promote the adhesion between the materials. &nbsp;The materials are pretty compatible, but the diamonds in the back had the PCTPE fill printing in air. &nbsp;It worked out, but I had to prune a couple of long PCTPE artifacts that stood proud.</p>
