iPhone XS Max Hogwarts Case
thingiverse
I designed this outline from Hogwarts and used it to cut through the iPhone XS Max case found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3122631. Next, I created a simple crescent moon using tinkerCAD. Then, I pulled the image of the stars from the corner of a Harry Potter book page and made them an STL in Fusion 360. After that, I used tinkerCAD to cut out the outline, stars, and moon. For best results, it's recommended to print this case with TPU filament so that it is flexible and can move with the phone while also withstanding a bit of shock. I've attempted to print this four times already, but the filament spills out the side of my extruder. To get past this issue, I'll need to adjust my settings before I can successfully print this case. I believe the problem may be due to the type of filament I'm using. To prove how it would look when printed correctly, I've included a picture of how the first layer turned out on the first attempt. Special thanks go to JManDoo for creating the original model found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3122631. Unfortunately, I was unable to upload this as a remix. My picture won't import in the correct orientation for some unknown reason. Sorry about that!
