This attachment enhances the iPhone XS's capabilities with the 3D scanning software "Heges" available from the App Store. https://hege.sh/ Due to the sole 3D scanning sensor on the front-facing camera of the iPhone XS, you can only scan items facing the display, such as your own face. This attachment enables you to scan objects in front of you while viewing the results on the iPhone screen. Simply attach a small mirror, as shown in the photo, to the printed holder and download the Heges app. There is an option within the settings of the app to automatically reverse the scan when using a mirror, ensuring that the resulting model is correctly oriented. I am not affiliated with the developer or the app in any way. The app continues to be improved and updated, and features are being added; I encourage you to support the developer. This attachment was designed for the iPhone XS, as that is my device of choice, but it could easily be modified to fit the iPhone XR.
