iPhone X Wireless Charging Dock
thingiverse
My wireless charging pad fell apart, so I took it apart and salvaged the QI charging components to create a new housing for them. I designed this project in Fusion 360. It was printed using Proto Pasta HTPLA Grey. This design allows me to use my Grove Made wooden bumper case while keeping the charging functionality intact. The charger should work with or without a case on it. UPDATE- I modified the main body of the design to have a thinner base, which is now less than 5mm thick. This change was necessary because the charge connection required minimal thickness for optimal charging performance. After assembling my charger, I realized this critical detail and made the adjustment. With the updated design, the total thickness of the charge connection is just 1mm, ensuring better charging results.
