iPhone X - Occipital Structure scanner bracket handgrip/stand

This is an accessory handle for the iPhone X Structure scanner adapter. It can be found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3033534. You can use this handle to hold your Occipital Structure/iPhone X scanner in your hand while scanning or place it on a flat surface without scratching your lens. The handle is positioned near the center of mass of the phone/scanner combination, making it easier to balance. The accessory handle is printed in two parts: the frame and the handle. The frame fits around the adapter mentioned above, while the handle screws into the bottom of the frame. To assemble these parts, you need to take advantage of the flexibility of plastic, which allows them to fit together by deforming slightly. When assembling, be careful not to snap off the threads on the handle as it screws into the frame. I printed the handle with 30% infill until near the top and then switched to 100% infill for added strength in the threaded area. To help you separate the parts when they're no longer needed, I've included an image that offers a tip on how to do so. To reassemble, simply reverse this process. I hope this handle proves useful to you. Feel free to share photos of your printed parts and scans if you'd like.
