Caution is advised, however, as this may cause some marks in your case, as seen in the picture with the grey one. The patina the leather-case develops from use adds character, and the extra grip is a welcome feature. Original "2015ed" remains intact. This is my 2015 edition of the "iPhone Stick," a versatile EDC kickstand that I consistently rely on. Designed specifically for the iPhone 6 plus and 5/5s, it functions flawlessly with or without the official leather case in both landscape (perfect for video) and portrait orientations (ideal for video-calling). A theoretical version designed for the iPhone 6 is also available, although untested due to a lack of personal experience with this model. Feedback from owners would be greatly appreciated as openings are slightly smaller. I fabricate these custom kickstands to fit the original Apple leather cases, which I prefer and happen to be quite popular among enthusiasts. Although other cases may work, they have not been thoroughly tested, aside from one made for a friend with a unique case named *HT that incorporates her initials. The kickstand works best in conjunction with a protective case as the iPhone can be slippery; however, its performance is dependent on your personal print (a coarser surface might provide better traction) and material. It's ideal for casual use. Instructions: My printing technique employs PLA at 5 shells, a layer height of 0.25mm, and 10% infill. The result is an expansive print measuring between 3.4 to 4.4 grams that takes approximately 10-12 minutes when printed at 90mm/s using a Rep2. v2: This revised version features a wider design, increasing material usage to around 4.3 to 5.5 grams and print time to 15-19 minutes at the same settings as its predecessor. To achieve optimal printing results, rotate 90 degrees to its side.
