iPhone PLUS or X car holder with charger
thingiverse
This iPhone holder can be printed directly with a charger cable embedded within it. First, let the printing process continue until the final layer is reached. At this point, bridge the charger part by inserting your cable into the void left behind. Next, secure the center portion of the already-printed holder with tape and hold it in place until two additional layers have been printed. After the printing process has completed, you'll notice that the cable fits a bit loosely within its designated pocket. To address this issue, scuff the charger cable's plastic surface to create traction, fill the pocket with glue, and then push the cable back into position. Ensure that it is aligned straight and properly seated. If you are using a smaller iPhone model, such as the X, you may need to print two small extensions on either side of the holder to prevent it from tilting or falling over. However, I have found that an X fits perfectly within this holder without requiring any additional modifications. Good luck with your printing project, and be mindful not to allow the cable to become stuck in any awkward positions during assembly.
