My phone soared out of my bike last weekend, thanks to my Lifeproof case, and fortunately, the phone is intact. At $90 a pop for these cases, I figured it was high time to come up with something that would safeguard it as well. I fashioned a pretty basic belt (my first DIY project, so don't expect any miracles) in two versions - open and closed. I whipped up three of them and slipped them over my phone, which had the case installed, just to see if this makeshift protection would do the trick while I'm out cruising on my bike. Let me make one thing crystal clear: this file/object/product has absolutely nothing to do with Lifeproof company or any endorsement from them. I'm not taking responsibility for any damage that might be done to your phone or its current case. If you try to slide this onto the phone without a case, it's going to be too big. You'll need a case in place for it to fit snugly. Right now, it's built specifically for the iPhone SE model only.
